Albert Kwabena Dwumfour has been re-elected as President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), securing a commanding victory in the 2025 National Executive Election.

With 445 out of 690 total votes cast, Dwumfour earned 64.49 percent of the ballots, defeating his contender, Charles Yao Mawusi, who polled 245 votes.

The vice-presidential race saw Rebecca Ekpe emerge victorious with 414 votes, representing 60.35 percent of the total, while her opponent, Mary Mensah, garnered 272 votes.

Dominic Hlordzi also claimed a solid win in the contest for General Secretary, obtaining 443 votes, which amounted to 64.20 percent.
