The Transition Team of President-Elect John Dramani Mahama has stated emphatically that it will reverse all payments, recruitments, transfers, and promotions if they take over power.
A statement from the team said the government's transition team has displayed bad faith and they are left with no choice but to take drastic actions against these late decisions.
They have also cautioned public officials and have urged them to resist pressure from the outgoing government to engage in these acts as they could attract severe consequences when the new government takes over.
Meanwhile, Information Minister, Fatimatu Abubakar has in a previous statement indicated that all such recruitments and payments among others are valid. "Regarding concerns about ongoing recruitment and payments, it was noted that the Government's term expires at midnight on January 6, 2025.
