A fire broke out at the Kwashieman Cluster of Schools in the early hours of today, destroying ballot boxes from the Ablekuma North constituency.

The blaze, which began around 1:40 a.m., reportedly started in the school's library where the ballot boxes were stored.

The Ghana National Fire Service responded swiftly and worked tirelessly for over two hours to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to other parts of the school.

Despite their efforts, the fire caused significant damage to the building and the election materials housed within it.
