Dean of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) Law School, Professor Ernest Kofi Abotsi has attributed the heavy defeat of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Members of Parliament to the failure to hold the Akufo-Addo government accountable.

He explains that the voters felt the need to hold both the outgoing president Akufo-Addo and the lawmakers accountable for the challenges. "What does the recent heavy defeat of NPP MPs tell us abt voter sentiment?

Tells us that voters equally blame NPP MPs for the acts and failings of the government and perhaps rightly so! "Huge loans approved, no checks and accountability for corruption complaints!

Verdict on governance by collusion," he wrote on his X page.   What does the recent heavy defeat of NPP MPs tell us abt voter sentiment?
