Campaign lead for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 elections, Prof Joshua Alabi has said the party projected to win the presidential election way before 2024.

Alabi noted that after the party lost in the 2020 elections, the NDC restructured itself and were prepared and positive of winning the 2024 elections.
Speaking in an interview on TV3's Hot Issues, Prof Alabi explained that after the 2016 elections, the NDC managed to reduce the number of seats obtained by the NPP as well as the margin of votes in the 2020 elections and were heading for victory in 2024. "I saw the victory after the 2020 elections coming into the 2024.
