Actress Martha Ankomah has turned down Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win's public apology in their ongoing GH¢5 million defamation case.
Reports from EIB Network's Legal Affairs Correspondent, Murtala Inusah, suggest that the actress found the apology inadequate, claiming it failed to meet the standard of a proper retraction and apology.
Efforts to settle the matter out of court are ongoing, with expectations that Lil Win may issue a revised apology acceptable to Martha Ankomah.
Meanwhile, the High Court in Accra has adjourned the case to February 25, 2025, to give both parties time to finalize their terms of settlement.
