Tamale South Member of Parliament Haruna Iddrisu, who has been re-elected in the 2024 general election, has expressed his interest in pursuing a presidential ambition.
Speaking on TV3 on Friday, December 13, Iddrisu stated, "My eye is on the ball but I don't know about tomorrow." Earlier, the former Minority Leader commented on the economic challenges faced by President-elect John Dramani Mahama.
Iddrisu acknowledged that Mahama has inherited an economy with severe difficulties but expressed confidence in Mahama's ability to overcome these challenges.
Speaking to journalists in Accra on Monday, December 9, Iddrisu emphasized the importance of not taking the people for granted.
