Lydia Seyram Alhassan, the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, has reportedly altered key services she introduced for students of the University of Ghana following her defeat in the 2024 general elections.

Among these changes, the free shuttle service that previously transported students across campus has transitioned into a paid service.

Additionally, her free driving school initiative, which provided practical training for students, has been discontinued.

These adjustments come in the wake of her loss to actor and politician John Dumelo of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
