Former Finance Minister Seth Terkper has announced that incoming President John Dramani Mahama will hold a national forum to discuss various policy proposals.
Speaking on TV3 on Friday, December 13, Terkper explained that the forum would be similar to the Senchi forum and would include discussions on proposals from opposing sides.
Terkper suggested that the free senior high school (SHS) programme should be limited to day students, as is done in Europe and the United States.
He noted that in these regions, the boarding system is reserved for elite and brilliant but needy students who secure scholarships.
