The Speaker of , , has summoned to reconvene on Monday, December 16, 2024, following his earlier indefinite suspension of the House.
This will be the first sitting of the House after the 2024 general elections and could be the last parliamentary sitting of the 8th before its dissolution.
Ahead of the sitting, some Ghanaians have shared their expectations regarding the order of business to be conducted in the chamber.
Speaking to , the majority expressed hopes that taxes such as the Betting Tax, E-Levy, and other nuisance taxes would be discussed and scrapped to ease the burden on Ghanaians.
