The Ghana Police Service has successfully recovered a stolen pickup vehicle belonging to the Member of Parliament for Ablekuma West, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful.
The vehicle was reported stolen on December 9, 2024, following a break-in at her office during the widespread unrest that erupted after the December 7 elections.
In an update, the Director of Public Affairs for the Police Service, ACP Grace Ansah-Akrofi, revealed during a press briefing on Thursday, December 12, that over 100 suspects have been arrested in connection with post-election violence.
ACP Ansah-Akrofi assured the public that the police are intensifying efforts to restore order and safeguard lives and property in the wake of the disturbances. "Crackdown on perpetrators of the post-election disturbances have resulted in the further arrest of 17 more people over the past 24 hours.
