Former Auditor-General, Daniel Yao Domelevo is pleased with the outcome of the 2024 elections, stating that Ghanaians have held the government accountable.
In an interview with TV3 on December 11, 2024, Domelevo who has consistently criticised government in the past months noted that he feels vindicated by the overwhelming victory of the NDC in the 2024 elections. "I'm happy Ghanaians have held this government accountable in the true sense of the word…I think this is fantastic," he stated.

Domelevo used the opportunity to congratulate President elect John Mahama for his victory.
