The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Builsa South Constituency, Dr.
Clement Apaak has urged the Akufo Addo-Bawumia government to settle its outstanding debt to the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) to prevent further delays which would negatively disrupt the academic calendar.
Dr.
Apaak's comments follow a press release from WAEC, which stated that the council is waiting for the Ministry of Education to release additional funds to cover an outstanding balance of GHS 118,000,000.00.
