The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on its supporters to refrain from vandalising state properties across various regions of the country.

Since December 8, individuals allegedly associated with the NDC have been reported to engage in acts of vandalism targeting state assets.

In a statement released on December 9, the NDC condemned these actions as "unacceptable" and urged supporters to avoid behaviour that could threaten the nation's peace and stability.

The party emphasized the importance of celebrating the presidential victory responsibly, urging its members to act in a manner that fosters unity and national cohesion. "The vandalism of state property, mob justice and any form of lawless retribution have the potential to undermine the peace and stability of our dear nation, hence unacceptable.
