The International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) Ghana has strongly condemned the recent violence and conflicts that erupted at Damango, involving some youth in the region.
In a statement released by Dr.
Samuel Ben Owusu, the United Nations Peace Ambassador and Country Director of IAWPA Ghana, the organisation expressed its deep concern over the disturbing reports of violence and conflicts at Damango. "We are deeply troubled by the news of violence and conflicts in Damango, and we strongly condemn such acts of violence and lawlessness," said Dr.
Owusu. "As a peace advocacy organization, we believe that violence and conflicts have no place in our society, and we urge all parties involved to seek peaceful and constructive means of resolving their differences," he said in a statement.
