Supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Offinso North Constituency clashed over the sharing of fertilizer at Akomadan.
Reports indicate that the NPP's newly elected Member of Parliament Fred Gyei Asamoah before the elections brought some fertilizers and promised to share them among the electorate after the elections.
On Monday morning around 8 am, some NDC supporters went to the Akomadan cocoa shell demanding fertilizers from the NPP party executives.
According to them, those fertilizers are for the farmers and they will not allow the NPP executives to share among their party members.
