Ms Sarah Dugbakie Pobi, Chief Executive, Ada East, in the Greater Accra Region, has lauded the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for transforming various sectors of the district within the eight years of governance.
She noted that sectors including education, health, roads and infrastructure, and economic empowerment were notably transformed in the district.
Ms Pobi, addressing a gathering at the District Assembly's forecourt, disclosed that one notable area of progress was in infrastructure development, furthering that the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP) was enhancing road networks across the district.
In the area of healthcare, the DCE disclosed that the existing health facilities had received upgrades, including the provision of essential medical facilities and personnel, stating that "the government's focus on healthcare underscores its pledge to ensure that every citizen, regardless of location or status, has access to quality medical services." She revealed that the education sector has also seen remarkable advancements, saying, "Recognising that education is the foundation of development, there has been massive investment in the provision of dual desks to schools within the district.
