The Electoral Commission (EC) has said that it had not received any results at the National Collation Centre as of 8:00 am Sunday, 8th December 2024.
The Director of Electoral Services, Mr Benjamin Bano-Bioh said this during a press briefing at the National Collation Centre. "For the information of the general public, as we speak, no results have been received at the National Collation Centre.
And I repeat, no results have been received at the National Collation Centre," he said.
Despite the commission yet to declare the result, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamdu Bawumia has conceded defeat and congratulated John Dramani Mahama of the NDC.
