President-elect John Dramani Mahama has confirmed receiving a congratulatory call from Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) flagbearer, following his decisive victory in the 2024 general elections.
In a post on social media platform X, John Mahama shared news of the call, describing it as a gesture of unity and respect for the democratic process. "I have, this morning, received a congratulatory call from my brother Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, following my emphatic victory in Saturday's election. "Thank you Ghana," the X post stated.
