The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) has cautioned military personnel allegedly deployed to cause chaos and stop the declaration of parliamentary results in some constituencies.
In a Facebook post, the former President warned that these soldiers will be held to account for their actions. "My attention has been drawn to the violent activities of some unscrupulous military personnel, deployed to cause mayhem and disrupt the declaration of parliamentary results in some constituencies. "This is to caution the personnel involved that they will be held individually liable and responsible for their actions." the statement said.
Counting at polling stations have concluded following the closure of polls at 5 p.m.
