A woman at the Lassi Polling Station in the Sene West Constituency had to be turned away after the BVD rejected her multiple times.

Officials of the Electoral Commission washed her hands with both alcohol and water, but she was still rejected.

The attempt to use manual verification was also unsuccessful, so she was told to go home and return later in the evening.

Meanwhile, voting at the Lassi Polling Station has resumed following an intervention by security personnel after a temporary holdup.
