The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has commenced the deployment of personnel in support of the Ghana Police Service for the election activities on December 7.
This information is contained in a press release dated December 7 and signed by the Director-General of Public Relations of the GAF, Brigadier General E.
Aggrey-Quashie. "The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) wishes to inform the public that the deployment of its personnel to designated locations in support of the Ghana Police Service for the peaceful conduct of the upcoming 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections is ongoing," the press release stated.
The GAF urged the public "not to be apprehensive if they see the movement of military personnel in their localities.
