Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya East Constituency, Phillis Naa Koryor, is optimistic about winning with approximately 67.9% in the elections.
Speaking to journalists after she cast her vote, she said, "I am looking at 67.9% for both parliamentary and presidential." According to her, she has garnered enough experience and will ensure previous mistakes are corrected.
She, however, expressed satisfaction with the process and hoped it continued. "So far, I think the process has been smooth and peaceful.
And the number of security personnel deployed is not bad, and we hope things move on as we are experiencing because we are all for peace." In all, voting is happening in 314 polling centres in the Awutu Senya East Constituency, and about 173,989 are expected to vote.
