The National Peace Council (NPC) has urged political parties and followers to moderately celebrate their Election 2024 victories.

Richardson Aboagye Andam, the Central Regional Chairman of the Council, said excessive celebrations and provocative gestures could provoke tensions among opponents, potentially leading to violence and disrupting national peace.
He advised against mockery and encouraged respect among political rivals to maintain national harmony, peace, and tranquillity post-election.
