Decision day is at hand in Ghana as approximately 18.8 million registered voters prepare to head to the polls on December 7 to elect a president and 276 parliamentary candidates.

While 12 candidates will appear on the ballot for the presidency, the contest is expected to crystallise into a head-to-head battle between Vice President Dr.

Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and former President John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Both front-runners are focusing their campaigns on four critical swing regions: the Western Region, Central Region, North East Region, and Greater Accra, where the election could ultimately be decided.
