The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has announced the deployment of military personnel to strategic locations to support the Ghana Police Service (GPS) in maintaining peace and security during the December 7, 2024, Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
The move is part of efforts to ensure a smooth and orderly electoral process.
In a statement issued on December 6, 2024, Brigadier General E.
Aggrey-Quashie, Director-General of Public Relations, clarified that the deployment is not a cause for alarm.
