24-Hour Economy’s job creation push yet to gather speed – Nii Moi Thompson 

Chairman of the National Development Planning Committee, Dr Nii Moi Thompson, says the job creation component of the government’s 24-hour economy programme is yet to gather the speed required to make a significant impact.“You may recall that the 24-hour economy was associated with job creation, and this is one aspect of it that I believe is yet to gather speed as much as it should.”Speaking on Joy News' PM Express on Wednesday, Dr Thompson said the 24-hour economy was one of the key ideas taken from the 48 Development Plan.
