Mahdi Jibril, Deputy Director of Elections for the opposition (NDC), alleges that Electoral Commissioner Madam Jean Mensa voted for Vice President Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia during the Special Voting Exercise.
He stated that while the constitution grants her the right to vote, she should have abstained from voting in order to maintain neutrality and protect the credibility of the elections.
Mahdi Jibril made the remarks during an interview on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM's Frontline, in which he questioned the elections' credibility, integrity, and transparency. "I know she (Jean Mensa) voted for the NPP.
