Police at Denchira in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region have saved two suspected ritual killers from being lynched by an angry mob.
The suspects who were carrying a dead body in a sack and transporting with a motorbike MyNewsGh.com has confirmed, were arrested by residents of Ashalaja and were subjected to severe beatings upon realizing their alleged crime.
According to the police, Kwame Kondo and Fofoe Kondo were intercepted on a Haojue motorbike with registration number M-10-GR 1484 carrying the dead body in the sack and when they were questioned they said they were going to give to one Togbui Kpe at Amasaman.
An alarm was raised and shocked residents descended on them until the police came to their rescue and took them to the station.
