The has responded to a viral video circulating on social media showing a white pickup truck allegedly carrying the voters' register.
The video in question shows a white pickup truck transporting copies of the voters' register for Ahafo Ano 1 and 2.
In a statement signed by Samuel Tettey, the Deputy Chairman of Operations at the EC, dismissed the video as an attempt to discredit their work and sow mistrust among Ghanaians ahead of the elections.
Tettey clarified that the Commission's registers are in black and white, not coloured like the one shown in the video. "The (EC) has taken note of a video circulating on social media which shows a copy of a supposed Voters Register for Ahafo Ano 1 and 2 being transported in a white pickup truck together with other registers.
