The execution of the government flagship programme, Agenda 111, is on course as nearly 70 per cent of the projects are at different stages of completion, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said.
According to him despite the skepticism and doubt cast over his government's ability to embark on such monumental undertaking, with barely one month for him to exit office, he had proven his critics wrong as almost 70 per cent of the hospitals are all nearing completion.
President Akufo-Addo disclosed this in Accra yesterday when he interacted with members of the various trade unions in the country as part of his thank you tour of the Greater Accra Region.
The unions present at the meeting included the Ghana Private Road Transport Unions (GPRTU), Health Services Workers Union (HSWU), Ghana Registered Nurses, Midwives Association (GRNMA) and the Civil and Local Governments Staff Association Ghana (CLOGSAG), the Industrial and Commercial Workers Union (ICU).
