The Member of Parliament for the Korle Klottey Constituency, , has said that she believes that money cannot buy the conscience of voters because they understand the reality on the ground.
Speaking to GHOne TV's Obed King Gaglo, the MP said, "The people know the reality of what is going on.
Some people feel that they can use money to buy the conscience of those who are going to vote, but I believe that at this point, it is too little, too late. "You can't put people in impoverished situations for as long as we've been, four years now, and think that at the last minute, you can throw some crumbs at people and think that it will make them forget the reality of their lives." When asked about her assessment of the Special Voting exercise, Zanetor Rawlings said that she was pleased that it was peaceful and that the process ran smoothly.
She advised voters to follow the rules and due processes.
