There is calm at the two Special Voting centres at the forecourt of the Electoral Commission (EC) office in Ketu South, where a total of 1,246 voters are expected to vote.
As of about 11:45 hours, when 325 and 331, making a total of 656 people, voted at voting centres A and B, no incident happened.
Queues formed as early as 0600 hours, and the first voter cast the ballot at exactly 0700 hours.
Various Party agents, including the New Patriotic Party, National Democratic Congress, The New Force, Movement for Change and observers from the Institute for Democratic Governance and Coalition of Domestic Election Observers, were present.
