A 10,000 capacity stadium facility has been opened at Hohoe in the Volta region by the Member of Parliament for the area, John-Peter Amewu.
Initial works began on the Hohoe stadium project in 2005 as an initiative by Mr.
Amewu who served as the Municipal Chief Executive for Hohoe during the Kufuor administration.
The project however stalled for several years when the NPP exited office in 2008 and only resumed after 2017.
