The Deputy National Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Osman Ayariga, has assured Ghanaians that the party will deliver on all its promises if it wins the upcoming 2024 general elections. Speaking in an interview on Tuesday, August 13, he emphasised the NDC's commitment to addressing the pressing issues facing the nation, particularly those affecting the youth. Mr Ayariga stressed the importance of the NDC's Youth Manifesto, which outlines key policies aimed at creating jobs, improving education, and providing opportunities for young people. He assured the electorate that the party's leadership, under John Dramani Mahama, is dedicated to implementing these policies fully, noting that the NDC has a track record of delivering on its promises when in government. The Deputy Youth Organiser also addressed concerns about the current state of the economy, blaming the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for what he described as "economic mismanagement" that has led to widespread hardship.
