Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has urged all the security personnel and other officers taking part in the special voting today Monday, December 2 to vote for him and the NPP parliamentary candidates.
Dr Bawumia highlighted a number of achievements of the NPP government in the security sector for which the NPP should be voted for to continue these projects. "We inherited a security sector facing numerous challenges, from internal disputes to a stretching workforce.
The need for comprehensive reforms was clear, we have significantly bolstered the ranks of our security agencies," he said in a message to the voters on his Facebook page.
He added, "We have massively upgraded your tools and infrastructure, over 900 vehicles and 3 helicopters have been added to the Police service….we have also improved living conditions with new barracks housing units for persons." "Our commitment to you and all Ghanaians is unwavering," he stressed.
