The (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Dome-Kwabenya, Elikplim Akurugu, is optimistic about securing a historic victory for her party in the pending election.
Speaking in an interview with Channel One TV on Monday, December 2, 2024, monitored by GhanaWeb, she emphasised that the NDC is poised to clinch the seat for the first time in two decades.
She acknowledged the support she has received from constituents and urged them to vote decisively for change. "If you follow elections in Dome-Kwabenya, especially in the NDC, we have a history of changing candidates every election year.
This is the first time we have not done that.
