Member of Parliament for Adaklu, Kwame Governs Agbodza, who doubles as the Chief Whip of the National Democratic Congress parliamentary Caucus, has honoured teachers in the Adaklu District for their distinguished service to the district.
At an awards ceremony at Adaklu Waya, the district capital on Friday, the legislator presented various prizes ranging from deep freezers, table top refrigerators, television sets, laptop computers among others to deserving awardees.
Award winners were drawn from various categories and levels, including kindergarten, lower and upper primary, as well as Junior and Senior High Schools.
Other non-teaching staff were equally honoured.
