The presidential candidate for the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Christian Kwabena Andrews, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, has proclaimed curses on certain categories of people ahead of the December 7 general elections.
According to him, individuals aiming to influence the election results negatively in favour of others using dubious means will not see the light of day, as many will go mad, die, or be struck down with diseases.
Osofo Kyiri Abosom added that he aims to revive the country from the hands of the two main political parties, the and the , arguing that they have nothing new to offer the country.
Addressing a press conference on December 1, 2024, in a video shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) by GHOne TV, he stated, "Seven curses are awaiting wicked Ghanaians on voting day. "I stand here in the name of God to declare seven curses on these categories of individuals, and anybody who falls victim should receive the punishment ten times, and the ten times will amount to 77," he said.
