The Ghana Police Service has announced that it has commenced an investigation into an attack on the convoy of the vice presidential candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The police, in its statement, said preliminary investigations indicate that the attack happened between Akuse and Kpong along the Akosombo-Accra Highway.
The statement said a dispatch rider from the opposite side of the road threw an object on the windscreen of one of the cars in her convoy, leading to the damaged windscreen.
