Victims of the October 14 rock blast disaster at Buduburam have expressed disappointment at the amount of money being paid to them as compensation.
The Gomoa East branch of the National Disaster Management Organissation (NADMO) on behalf of government began paying compensations to the affected victims on Thursday, 28th November.
The Gomoa East NADMO Director in charge of the disbursement, Robert Hackman told 3news that a total of GHC1,448,000.000 was allocated to cater for the compensation.
However, the victims got agitated upon receiving their respective compensation packages as they found the monies given them to be insufficient in catering for the damages.
