President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama to publicly commit to accepting the outcome of this year's elections.
Akufo-Addo pointed out that he set an example by accepting the results of the 2008 and 2012 elections, extending congratulations to Mahama on both occasions to ensure peace prevailed.
Speaking to a gathering of Chiefs and clergy in Koforidua on Thursday, November 28, President Akufo-Addo assured that the 2024 elections will be free and fair, reiterating that election rigging is not part of the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) agenda. "He claims if he doesn't win the election, it means the NPP has rigged.
Then why the need to cast our votes in the first place?
