Otto Addo is expected to stay on as Black Stars coach despite failing to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.

Addo submitted his technical report to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Wednesday, and after a lengthy meeting, sources claim the Executive Council has decided to keep him in charge.

However, his backroom staff will be changed, and a technical advisor will be brought in to assist him.

Otto Addo was appointed in March 2024 for a second stint following Ghana's failed 2023 AFCON campaign in Ivory Coast.  The entire technical team, led by Chris Hughton, was dismissed, with Addo brought in for another term.
