Commercial sex workers along the Kwame Nkrumah 'circle' railway line are back to work barely two months after the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Kwatei Titus Glover warned against any attempt to reconstruct structures serving as brothels. At about 4:00pm on June 5, 2024, a ravaging inferno razed down hundreds of wooden structures serving as brothels for commercial sex workers along the Accra-Achimota railway at the Kwame Nkrumah 'circle' enclave. Their business was interrupted as a result. Attempt to reconstruct the brothels was aborted after the Nii Kwartei Titus Glover visited the fire scene and warned them to keep off the land. He said "it is sad that people are living under this condition.
