Former President, John Mahama has responded to President Akufo-Addo's claims about the erratic power supply also known as 'dumsor'.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate said the President must acknowledge that the power supply challenge had been resolved before he [Mahama] handed over power in 2017.

On Monday, November 25 President Akufo-Addo described the former President's legacy as one characterised by persistent power outages.

He questioned the practicality of the NDC's proposed 24-Hour Economy policy under Mahama's leadership. "If he couldn't maintain a stable 12-hour power supply when he was in office, how can he promise a 24-hour economy?
