Coffin makers in the Subin community have raised concerns about what they describe as a lack of government support for their trade, a key pillar of the local economy.

Speaking on Channel One TV's Community Forum on Tuesday, November 26, the artisans highlighted the significance of the trade to the Subin economy, explaining its reach beyond local markets.

However, they noted that the cost of doing business, and fear of evacuation among others, have negatively impacted their business.
