Gold Fields Ghana Limited (Tarkwa Mine) was ranked number 2 in the country and within the extractive industry, while Abosso Goldfields Limited (Damang Mine) was ranked number 12 at the just-ended Ghana Club 100 Awards (GC100) held in Accra.
This remarkable achievement was further bolstered by the company's recognition as the 1st runner up for the Best Corporate Social Reasonability Company and Second ranked Company in the Extractive (petroleum and mining) sector.
Organised by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, the GC100 recognises and celebrates the top 100 companies in the country for their business excellence, innovation and outstanding contributions to national development, as well as corporate social responsibility.
