The Ghana Police Service has arrested 26 individuals for brandishing and firing toy guns indiscriminately in a public space.
In a statement, the police noted that the suspects are currently in police custody and assisting with investigations and will be arraigned in court to face justice.
it added that a significant quantity of toy guns has been seized as evidence during the ongoing probe into this growing trend in parts of the country.
As part of efforts to curb the menace, police said special operations are underway to apprehend others engaged in similar activities.
