President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Albert Dwumfour has called for more pragmatic action from the Ghana Police Service in dealing with assaults and attack on journalists.

In a yet-to-be aired interview on TV3's Hot Issues on Sunday, November 24, Mr.

Dwumfour referenced a number of attacks on Ghanaian journalists where no arrest or prosecutions were made by the police.

He urged the Ghana Police Service to stop paying lip service and demonstrate action towards attack on journalists.
