Kojo Asemanyi, the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Gomoa East, has expressed confidence in reclaiming the seat he lost in 2020 to Desmond De-Graft Paitoo of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking on the Community Forum on Channel One TV on Friday, November 22, Asemanyi stated that there is a strong demand for his return among constituents.

According to him, his previous tenure as a Member of Parliament left a lasting impression on the people of Gomoa East, who he claims are eager for his comeback. "The good people of Gomoa East have tasted salt, and they have tested sugar and they know the sweet one and the bitter one.

So, as we speak, there is an overwhelming clamour for the return of Kojo Asomani. "From every corner of the constituency, you will get people from NPP and NDC, floating voters who have come together and are saying Kojo Asemanyi must return. "So, we are confident we are going to win with a wide margin and it is because of how I served the good people of Gomoa East when I was a member of parliament," he stated.
